Nepal’s largest startup conclave
The NEXT Growth Conclave is a conference that initially started as an event to launch NEXT Venture Corp. The first conclave was so successful that it was developed into a standalone vertical. The growth conclave brings together successful entrepreneurs, investors, various stakeholders of all stripes and members of the media. The purpose of this conclave is to create a platform through which these businessmen and startup stars can teach Nepali entrepreneurs, inspire them and encourage them to dream big and make their businesses grow. Each year, NEXT Growth Conclave also provides opportunities for startups to showcase their business and products and launch their ventures; furthermore, the conclave has become the preferred Nepali event for investors and entrepreneurs to network and build lasting relationships. NEXT Growth Conclave has so far launched 23 startups and 58 others (through their Start-Up Valley programme), featured 33 global speakers, brought in 150 investors through their Investors Lounge, and seen more than 2,100 participants and 110 media personnel.
Startup Valley is Nepal’s largest exhibit for Nepal’s early stage startups. Through its Kickstart Hill segment, new ventures gain exposure to the big players in Nepal’s startup ecosystem, and get invaluable face-to-face marketing and sales opportunities.
The Investor Lounge is the perfect place for entrepreneurs to connect with angel investors looking to fund a startup and help it take the rst steps, or with investment companies seeking potential returns from startups.
The Media Lounge provides entrepreneurs with the opportunity to meet members of the national and international media, pitch their products, gain coverage and expand their reach in the market. Through Venture Blend, entrepreneurs get to informally interact, over food and music, with trendsetters, startup mavens and in uencers and in the process create strong networks.
Through Venture Talk, senior entrepreneurs and industry experts connect with entrepreneurs, working professionals and entrepreneurship enthusiasts and teach the attendees of the event how to grow a successful business. Venture Talk is a live talk-programme that has seen over 100 participants in each edition.

STARTUPSNepal is the gateway to Nepal’s entrepreneur ecosystem. It provides news, views, and reviews on startups, entrepreneurs and the investment landscape in Nepal. The portal brings together the key resources and stakeholders of the startup support system in one place—via the online portal startupsnepal.com—all done in order to build a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in Nepal. Towards this end, STARTUPSNepal actively interacts with entrepreneurs, investors, the Nepali entrepreneurial community and the government. The portal got rolled out, in 2012, as a Facebook community page. Today, it is known for featuring insightful stories, inspiring narratives of businessmen and research-based articles, which are popular among entrepreneurs, investors and established businessmen. STARTUPSNepal is working towards creating an annual ecosystem-summit (starting 2019). The main agenda of the summit will be to discuss ways to strengthen Nepal’s startup ecosystem. The event’s proceedings will be led by captains of industry and successful entrepreneurs. The panel discussions, which will revolve around the burning issues faced by Nepali startups, will strive to come up with actionable solutions for the startup sector—by, for example, focusing on better research and formulating better business and economic policies
